Disney announced today that a new game is coming to the Play app. The game is called Behold The Gifts of Mara and will basically be a virtual version of the decoder cards that Disney printed for the ride and its queue when it opened in 1995.
In the game guests will be able to once again decode ancient messages, plus some brand new codes that have been recently added to the queue. These messages will spell out what you need to do to get the Mara’s gift.
I like that Disney is continually enhancing its rides and queues as well as adding new games and experiences to the Play app. All of that just makes the guest experience better and the experience waiting in the queue that much better. Will you be using the Play app next time you ride Indiana Jones? Let me know in the comments below!
Along with Snow White, another Disney classic is set to undergo a major refurb in 2020 and that would be Indiana Jones. Disney has filed a permit to replace the bridge and other props during a major refurb next year for the attraction. They will also refurb the rock work.
Are you excited for these two iconic attractions to get enhanced? Let me know down in the comments below!
Holiday World in Indiana is looking to be and will be the water coaster capital of the world when their brand new water coaster Cheetah Chase opens up next year. Cheetah Chase will be the world’s first racing and launching water coaster and the first to be doing a complete circuit.
Riders will be launched 25 feet up a lift hill using ProSlide Blast Technology and will be zipping along at a speed of 27 mph along the 852 foot full circuit course. Each raft will fit up to three people and duel head to head to see who can win the race! What do you guys think of this new addition? Comment below your thoughts on this water coaster and your thoughts on the evolution of water slides in general.
THEME PARK WIZARD SUPPORTS ALS AND YOU CAN TOO!
The ALS Foundation of Southern California has a couple of events coming up that I would love to sponsor, especially since the sponsorship money goes to ALS to help research ways to fight this disease! If you would like to help me sponsor a water station at the upcoming Ventura ALS Walk click here! I am almost halfway to my goal!
