Yet another classic Disneyland attraction will be going down for a significant refurb next year. The Haunted Mansion will be going down January 21st until Spring time for an extended refurb that will include new paint on the exterior and mechanical and lighting upgrades on the interior.
Haunted Mansion Holiday fans will be delighted that the attraction seems to be running for an extra couple of weeks this year leading up to this refurb. What do you guys think about this refurb? Sleeping Beauty Castle is starting to undergo its Winter transformation at the Disneyland Resort. This week the first markings of snowfall have occurred with the rest of the roofing and turrets expected to get snow throughout the coming weeks. Next the icicles will be installed and the castle will be in the holiday spirit by the time the holidays start November 8th.
Each night guests gather in the Hub around 6pm for the Lighting Ceremony that includes music, lighting of the castle and Small World Holiday facade, as well as a snowfall.
